AOG technical support
for Part-145 organizations.
Aviation maintenance support network for Part-145 organizations. AOGCrew coordinates qualified maintenance professionals for AOG events and unscheduled technical situations when the in-house roster is stretched, on rest, or out of category.
Coverage patterns
- Outstation reinforcement. Narrowbody transit needs a second qualified hand for the work card and troubleshooting; turn time at risk.
- Type-rated cover at outstation. Regional turboprop with a red deferred item; station Part-145 cover does not extend to type, in-house engineer on rest; coverage needed ahead of the next rotation.
- Specialist coverage across distances. Engine, NDT, or structures finding on a business jet; operator's nominated Part-145 has the qualification several time zones away.
Scope
- B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4, B2, B3 licensed engineers, Cat A line authorisation, Cat C base certifying staff
- Experienced unlicensed mechanics for airframe, engine, avionics, cabin, and structures work, under your Certifying Staff supervision
- NDT specialists (UT, MT, PT, ET, RT, VT) at Levels I, II, III
- Engine specialists, borescope inspectors, structures and composite repair technicians
AOGCrew's compliance boundary
AOGCrew is not a Part-145 organization. AOGCrew does not certify, approve, authorize, employ, supervise or release maintenance work.
All maintenance activity remains under the client organization's approved procedures, supervision, competence assessment, quality system and internal authorizations. The client Part-145 organization signs every maintenance release.
This is the standard subcontracting model under EASA Part-145.A.75(b). AOGCrew supplies aviation maintenance professionals; your organization carries the airworthiness responsibility, as it always does.
Engagement flow
Three steps, none of them automated:
- Submit the request with the station ICAO, aircraft type, license category, expected timing, and tooling constraints through the company portal.
- Coordination team identifies professionals whose qualifications, type experience, and availability fit. Shortlisted profiles go to your authorised reviewer for selection. Contact details remain with AOGCrew until the engagement is confirmed.
- On confirmation, the professional is briefed against your MOE and presents at the station. All maintenance activity from that point is performed under your Part-145 approval.
